Well Concealed British Trench, near Salonika

The British trenches were excellently concealed. Men standing in one but at 20 yards the trench line cannot be distinguished. This comes from a series of photographs acquired by the War Department depicting the military activities and personnel of several nations during World War I, 1914-1918.
