This is the Statement, Plan, Request for Stay from a case brought against the Board of Education of the City of New Rochelle and the Superintendent of Schools by the parents of 11 African American elementary students of the school. The court found that the school district had infringed upon the children’s equal protection rights by deliberately creating and maintaining the Lincoln School as a racially segregated one.
