Located on Lexington Green, Henry Hudson Kitson's Captain Parker (also known as Lexington Minute Man) commemorates the first battle of the American Revolution. Dedicated on the 125th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington on April 19, 1900, the life-size bronze figure of a colonial farmer carrying his musket is set on a base of rough stones.
