Documerica photographer Jack Corn took this photograph in April 1974, showing Martha Crider and her family on their way to a band concert at a local grade school in Fierco, West Virginia. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) sponsored the Documerica photography project in the 1970s to record subjects of environmental concern.
