In December 1967, President Lyndon B. Johnson paid a surprise visit to South Vietnam to raise troop morale, the second of two visits by President Johnson to U.S. troops in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. In this photograph the President poses with nurses at a military hospital in Cam Rahn Bay, Vietnam.
