Teachers will use this activity as a wrap up on teaching primary source annotating skills and direct instruction about the Northwest Ordinance. Ideally, students would complete this as a formative evaluation of material in regards to Ohio Learning Standards for 4th grade.
Students will analyze how the Northwest Ordinance helped shape the state of Ohio and make connections based on the geogrpahical benefits the Ohio territory had to offer.
