This item is a Pictorial Report from the "Es gibt keinen judischen Wohnbezirk in Warschau mehr!" (There Is No Jewish Ghetto in Warsaw Anymore!), also known as the Stroop Report, entered into evidence as U.S.A. Exhibit 275 during the International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg.
To justify his brutal suppression of the Jewish uprising in the Warsaw Ghetto, April 20 to May 15, 1943, SS commander, Jergen Stroop, created a final report that included a list of casualties incurred by his troops plus 50 hand-captioned photographs. An
official English translation of the report was created by interpreter Virginia von Schon and entered into evidence as U.S.A. Exhibit 275 during the International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg.
