This document ratified and confirmed the treaty between the United States Government and the Navajo that was signed at Fort Sumner in New Mexico Territory, on June 1, 1868. The ratification followed the advice and consent of the Senate, and includes the seal of the United States and the signature of President Andrew Johnson.
