John Larson and Hanna Pedersen both hailed from the Norwegian village of Gudbransdalen. Hanna arrived in Boston, Massachusetts, on November 9, 1901, and married John at Bagley, Minnesota, on March 24, 1902. They had seven children. Hanna’s declaration of intention to become an American citizen records that she was a 65-year-old housewife on September 5, 1940.
