This is the certificate of discharge for Roy R. Warren from Company 875 CCC of the Civilian Conservation Corps in Nashoba, Oklahoma.

Roy Warren of Nowatta, Oklahoma, enrolled with the Civilian Conservation Corps’ Company 876. The 18-year-old served for almost 2 years building roads before he received his certificate of Honorable Discharge on June 30, 1939. The Civilian Conservation Corps, a key program of President Roosevelt’s New Deal, operated from 1933 through 1942 and provided jobs to young, unemployed men.
