This newsreel shows Kathleen Cleaver speaking at Hutton Memorial Park in Alameda County, California. Also shown is a student protest demonstration at Alameda County Courthouse in Oakland, California. Black Panther Party leaders Huey P. Newton, Eldridge Cleaver, and Bobby Seale speak on a 10-point program they want from the administration - which would include full employment, decent housing and education, an end to police brutality, and for Blacks to be exempt from the military. Black Panther Party members are shown as they march in uniform. Students at a rally march, sing, clap hands, and carry protest signs. Police in riot gear are present. You can also watch this video
