This telegram from Jane Addams and other women asks the Department of Labor to reconsider their decision to deport Emmeline Pankhurst, a British suffragette. The authors wanted the board to maintain “America’s devotion to liberty.” It comes from an appeal of English suffragette Mrs. Emmeline Pankhurst for admittance.
