The original caption for this photograph reads: Da Nang, Vietnam…. The assault nearly complete, reserve troops tramp to their positions within the “Tango” zone of operations. At 10:30 a.m. in late November, the first Vietnamese Army troops scrambled from U.S. Marine helicopters to launch a complex, 2 landing zone, vertical assault against Viet Cong southwest of Da Nang.
