This is a photograph of students eating in a cafeteria and drinking milk. It comes from a series of Tennessee Valley Authority photographs promoting the use of electricity from 1923–1978. They include average citizens using electricity in residential, agricultural, industrial, and commercial environments; and electrical shows and exhibitions, which were sponsored to market and demonstrate the use of electrical lighting, kitchen appliances, and farm equipment.
