Almost 50 years before he would be sworn in as the 36th President of the United States, Lyndon Johnson was photographed sitting on the porch of a house near Johnson City, Texas. His mother, Rebekah Baines Johnson, included this photograph in an album now held at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum.
