The John Hunt Morgan Memorial by Pompeo Coppini was unveiled in 1911 in Lexington, Kentucky.
Originally located on the courthouse lawn in Lexington, Kentucky, the John Hunt Morgan Memorial was erected by the United Daughters of the Confederacy. The bronze equestrian statue on a granite pedestal, the statue depicts the Confederate General astride a horse with hate in hand at his side. One of only two equestrian Civil War monuments in Kentucky.
In 2017, the memorial was removed from its location near the county courthouse. In July 2018, it was relocated to the Lexington Cemetery.
