The John C. Breckinridge Memorial was unveiled in 1887 in Lexington, Kentucky.
Originally located on the courthouse lawn in Lexington, Kentucky, the John C. Breckinridge Memorial depicts the former US Vice President and Confederate General and Secretary of War in 19th century clothing with one hand resting on drapery while the other reaches out.
In 2017, the memorial was removed from its location near the county courthouse. In July 2018, it was relocated to the Lexington Cemetery.
