Tojo sentenced to death by hanging read by Chief Justice Sir William Webb (Australia) (not shown) President of the International Military Tribunal for the Far East. Tojo, age 64, was Former General, Premier and War Minister from December 1941 to July 1944. Tokyo. 11/24/48.
