Description

His Excellency Phan Van Khai, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, presented this gift to President William J. Clinton. It is a “Fu Dog” incense burner in bronze with inlaid lacquer, shell, and nacre traditional motifs.

It was presented after President Clinton’s announcement of normalization of relations with Vietnam in July 1995.
