Harvey W. Scott Statue by Gutzon Borglum was completed in 1930 in Portland, Oregon.
The thirteen foot bronze statue depicts the newsman and long-time editor of the Oregonian facinging westward toward downtown Portland. The base is inscribed with “Harvey W. Scott 1838-1910; Pioneer, Editor, Publisher, Molder of Opinion.”
