Born August 15, 1889, in Michoacan, Mexico, Ascension Jimenez had 11 American-born children with his Russian-born wife Catharine Swith. He was a farmer in Keith County, Nebraska, when he filed this declaration of intention for citizenship on March 17, 1943.
