Arts America host John Bos introduces this film created by the U.S. Information Agency about the Statue of Liberty: “Body of Iron, Soul of Fire.” The film, made the year of America’s centennial celebration and the restoration of the Statue of Liberty, traces the symbolic nature of the Statue, and looks at the life and inspirations of Bartholdi, its creator.
