Timeline of the Cold War
The Cold War was a period of time in US history spanning from 1945-1991 where not just the US, but the globe saw heightened tensions over possible nuclear war. The United States was also determined to stop the spread of communism during this time and got involved in two separate wars because of it. During this activity you will be looking at 9 different photos and I want you to place them in chronological order. Number 1 being the first event that took place and number 9 being the last. Some images and primary sources may have dates attached or written on the document, others will not and you will need to use context clues to first determine what that image depicts and where it would fall in the timeline.
