As we dive into the Civil War, it is crucial that we understand the psyche of those involved;

In this assignment, we will reach back to the founding of the American nation, comparing grievances, desires, and fears expressed in these “founding” documents. Your job is to take the three of these documents, and create a compare and contrast chart for all three, you should strive to highlight the complaints, beliefs, and events that inspire and motivate these documents.

Once completed, students should now move on to the short essay question, answering the following prompt:
Are the ideas and beliefs that inspire these documents similar or dissimilar, are these similarities and differences intentional or coincidental? Explain.
