This activity focuses on the different people and events from the Reform Movement prior to the Civil War. It includes Frederick Douglass, William Lloyd Garrison, and Elizabeth Cady Stanton all of who played a crucial part in wanting to end slavery. In some cases the reformers helped pave the path for future movements-such as Elizabeth Cady Stanton who became a key player in the Women's Movement.
